Owl
Owls are my favorite animals. They’re nocturnal, mysterious, graceful, intimidating, and a universal symbol of intelligence. They embody my best qualities and represent the attributes I respect and strive to demonstrate more often. I brought the idea to Jordi at Shanghai Tattoo in Spartanburg, SC. He sketched the owl with his wing out. It wasn’t something I had in mind before, but I think the wing gives a fun and lively quality to the owl. It’s my third and most recent tattoo.
3d dolphin
This clever 3D tattoo uses the shape of the amputee’s shoulder as part of the design, creating a cute and humorous body art work. The highlights and shading add to the existing shape of the flesh to reveal the dolphin shape within.
