Owl: Owls are my favorite animals. They’re nocturnal, mysterious, graceful, intimidating, and a universal symbol of intelligence. They embody my best qualities and represent the attributes I respect and strive to demonstrate more often. I brought the idea to Jordi at Shanghai Tattoo in Spartanburg, SC. He sketched the owl with his wing out. It wasn’t something I had in mind before, but I think the wing gives a fun and lively quality to the owl. It’s my third and most recent tattoo.
